Marliese von Huene is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Alaska, and a registered EIT with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (expected P.Eng. status in 2021). She is an avid Nordic skier, who also enjoys hiking, running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing.
After graduating from University of Idaho in 2013, Marliese and her husband moved to Anchorage, Alaska for a few years and enjoyed the new challenges and opportunities that living and working in an arctic climate brings. Eventually however, she missed being close to family. So, the search began for a perfect new home – one closer to Idaho, but with all the outdoor opportunities she had grown to love in Anchorage. After many months of research, Kelowna came out as a clear winner. After a quick drive back down the Alcan Highway, she is here and very excited to get involved in all the Okanagan has to offer.
