Originally from North Vancouver, Jaleen came to the Okanagan in the early 2000s for school. But like many of us, she fell in love with the region and simply never left.
After attaining a bachelor’s degree in Geography from UBC Okanagan, Jaleen went on to complete her Urban Design Certificate from Simon Fraser University and her Local Government Administration Certificate from Capilano University.
Jaleen is proud to be a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP), as well as a Registered Professional Planner (RPP).
When she’s not thinking about planning for a better community, Jaleen is often outside enjoying the Okanagan sunshine (or rain), on a mountain, a bike, a kayak, a boat or any other method by which she can revel in nature. At home, Jaleen enjoys spending time with family and her dog, wood carving and generally just building stuff.
More on Jaleen’s professional skills, as well as other CTQ staff members, can be found on our About Us > Our Staff Page.
