It is with great pleasure that we introduce Byron Douglas to the CTQ Team.
Byron is originally from South Africa and brings over 20 years of international landscape architectural and project management experience to his role overseeing the Landscape Architecture, Placemaking, Sustainability and Urban Design in our office.
Prior to joining our firm, he has worked in Kelowna, the UK and South Africa, during which time he ran his own firm in Cape Town, South Africa.
Byron has been involved in private sector, municipal and provincial projects throughout the Okanagan and BC, South Africa, Southern and West Africa, Indian Ocean Islands, UAE, China and the United Kingdom.
During his career, he has focused primarily on the master planning, visioning and design of communities, urban and civic regeneration, park planning, campus planning, healthcare, resort development, wineries and agricultural estates, golf estates and high end residential projects.
Byron’s attention to detail, consideration of individual site and client needs, enables him to create memorable, interactive and lasting landscapes.
Outside of work, Byron spends time with his family and friends, is an avid gardener, kitchen cowboy and braai master, outdoor enthusiast (mountain biker, road cyclist, stand up paddleboarder and novice surfer).
We look forward to what Byron brings to not only our clients but also our staff at CTQ.
