A few years after obtaining his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and a M.Eng. Degree in Hydraulic Resources, Antonio immigrated to Canada from his native Colombia. Kelowna has been his home since 2001 when he joined the Engineering Consulting Industry.
Antonio is a registered P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC. With more than 20 years of professional experience, he has worked in hydraulic resources and water modeling for the last 15 years. Antonio has had the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects covering all stages from conceptual planning to construction and implementation. During the last few years he has been the main Consultant Engineer for GEID and BMID, two of the largest water utilities in the Okanagan Valley. In that role Antonio has maintained and use their water distribution system models, developed capital plans, provided advisory services on several developments and participated as professional coordinator and designer of some of their key infrastructure facilities.
When Antonio is away from work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, taking photographs, or going for hikes with his wife and two kids. Antonio is excited about the professional opportunities that will arise as a result of joining the CTQ team.
