CTQ was originally formed by two, and quickly thereafter four, senior partners coming together with a joint passion to serve their clients well. They all have a vast amount of experience in Engineering, Planning and Urban Design. They had hoped that some of their clients would follow them and when almost 85% of them did they were honoured and realized they had created what was needed in the business. Most of the large and small client organizations continue their relationship with CTQ today providing a diverse cross section of projects.
Since 2003 the firm has continued to carefully select Land Use Planners, Urban Designers, Landscape Architects, and Transportation Engineers to complement their team of professionals. CTQ has also added professionals in the Natural Resource Management and Information Management fields to complement their original client services. This approach has allowed CTQ to become involved with some of the largest and most intriguing community development and design projects in B.C.
Our diversity and scale of projects, our long list of outstanding private and public sector clients, and our ability to apply multi-disciplinary teams to challenging issues, has put CTQ in a position of high demand. Our passion for completing assignments, while keeping an eye on "Cost, Time and Quality", has proven successful in growing from 5 employees in 2003 to currently 40. We have been told by our clients that we are leaders in our field - this is always a nice thing to hear!
